Independent machinery sourcing ยท Evidence

textile machinery

Textile Machinery Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for US buyers who need textile machinery scoped to a spinning duty rather than a warehouse catalog. Share fiber blend, staple length, yarn count (Ne), twist (T/m), requested spindle speed (rpm), quantity and destination so we can request comparable factory wholesale quotes. This site does not sell from stock and does not claim original-equipment identity or a brand-appointed reseller role. A published spindle rating is not a sellable yarn output until the yarn, efficiency assumptions and included preparation or winding stages are written into the RFQ.

Site interface register

Connections to confirm
Interface Buyer input
Electrical Three-phase supply voltage and frequency at the mill, connected load in kW for the quoted spindle count, and whether the inverter or PLC interface names must match an existing mill network.
Utilities Compressed air demand for splicing or pneumatic functions, cooling water if the offer includes heat exchangers, and extraction capacity for fly and broken-end suction under the stated duty cycle.
Controls Signal protocol for production data, doffing calls and stop reasons. A brochure PLC name is not a confirmed handshake until the supplier restates the protocol against the mill system.

Trial sequence

Treat a demonstration as a check of yarn and handling, not as a speed show. Public ring-spinning references such as Rieter G 38 list yarn count, twist, spindle speed and fiber length as specification fields; those names are buyer inputs for an RFQ, not output promises copied onto this site. Ask every textile machinery bidder to run the same yarn and conditioning method before ranking factory replies.

  1. Representative sample

Name fiber type, blend, staple length, yarn-count range and target twist for the trial. Identify whether roving is supplied by the buyer or by the factory, and whether winding is in the same offer. A cotton demonstration does not stand in for a technical-textile duty.

  2. Demonstration

Request a production interval that states spindle speed, efficiency assumptions and the yarn for which they apply. Observe doffing, ends down and operator interventions. A peak rpm without the yarn and waste method is not a throughput figure that can be compared.

  3. Acceptance record

Agree how breaks, waste and package quality will be measured, and whether FAT is witnessed on that yarn. SAT on the buyer mill remains a contract step. Pass criteria stay with the named supplier; this desk does not certify mill output.

Choose a quotation route for the spinning duty

Defined specification

If yarn count, twist, fiber blend and which preparation and winding stages belong in the machine envelope are already written, send that package. Factories can then quote the same spinning duty instead of mixing a ring frame with an unrelated forming line under one textile machinery heading.

Selection still open

If ring spinning versus a technical-textile forming or finishing route is still open, start with sourcing steps. Mixing those constructions in one table hides labor, extraction and interface differences that only appear after installation.

Questions buyers raise before comparing factory quotes

Which procurement scope is covered by textile machinery?

Machine

Base spinning frame, quoted spindle count, standard tooling such as rings and travellers listed in the offer, and the control cabinet named for that duty. Extra drafting, autodoffing or winding modules stay outside the machine line unless listed.

Delivery

Crating, inland haul to the US mill, duties and whether installation crews travel with the shipment. Freight that omits yarn-package handling equipment is not a complete delivery total.

Site

Foundation, air-conditioning assumptions, extraction ducting, compressed air and three-phase supply matching. Site work and spare parts kits are frequent extras on spinning projects.

No numerical saving claim without comparable quotations.
Which responsibilities remain with the equipment supplier and buyer?

The buyer supplies fiber blend, yarn count, twist target, mill utilities, quantity and destination. The manufacturer confirms spindle configuration, drawings and trial records for that duty. Textile Machinery Sourcing coordinates comparable quotes; engineering acceptance stays with the contract parties after FAT/SAT language is agreed. Certificates belong to the named factory and machine, not to this website. Read yarn specification notes or labor and handling notes before locking the brief.
